I’ve always been a true believer of not taking pills for daily help and shit. Like vitamin tablets and stuff.
I think If you take pills your natural defenses will weaken and new viruses will be easily picked up. I always say, “I never get sick”. And I don’t, except once, in college, I was sick for a few days. You remember blackie, donna! I’m a shitty sick person. That’s because I’m not used to it.
Well about the pills and stuff, they’ve proven it. Sort of. It’s on slashdot.
mossy, have to agree with you on that one, i very very rarely get sick, and thats cos i never load myself up on pills, luke of course takes the opposite approach and the results are there to see ! no point taking pills for a hangover etc, let your body fight its own battles !
what if ye were actually sick, say a chest infection, would ye take any pills then?
i haven’t taken pills in ages tony, stop taking vitamins about two years and haven’t been sick since.
i think the last time i got a flu was 1st year. as for hangovers you gotta do alka-salsa.
ah ya if your actually sick, really sick, infection etc, then of course id taken whatever im meant to but its the whole thing of people knocking back a couple of anadin everytime they get the slightest head pain or drinking bucketloads of lemsip if they get a runny nose etc!
i didnt know that luke so soz for da generalizaton ! well i think not loading up on medicine has helped my immune system, either that or as luke said before maybe i was left in the cold and dirt as a child and that did the trick, either way it worked !
I’d go with the latter. Sligo is pretty cold and dirty

i’d say it’s cold wet weather in sligo has built up your immune system.
just like limerick did in first year those wet early monday mornings in the schuman would make u tough as nail.
ah sure with all the running i hear ur doing now bitiz, i’d say you’d never be sick again.
i hear u’ve moved back to waterford and jog up to dublin and back everyday.
