Lucy nicely sums up a nice post about old people with this.
Old people are okay in my book. Just as long as they aren't in front of me in the queue at the supermarket.I remember a few weeks ago I was on my daily excursion down to Tesco for my Crossaint and Milk, I came upon an old man packing his bags at the check out. He packed them faster than I could say packed, and sauntered out of the establishment like a startled stallion. His face was 85, but nothing else.
I have a new quote of the week. Check out the similae in this one.
...sauntered out of the establishment like a startled stallion.Man I feel like Seamus Heaney or something.

Wow. Profound, man. You spelt simile wrong. No big.
What about Smilie? :)
Also. I dont need to be able to spell to be poetic.
I blame Pat McEvoy for killing my interest in Literature.
Don't want to rain on your profound parade mos but wouldn't a 'startled stallion' run like the wind and not 'saunter' which implies languorous movements.
My favourite quote of the day is 'I think I've been fair' said by each lecturer as they describe the contents of our imminent exams. They had better have been fair or else I'll be outta there like a startled stallion or something. mwah mwah.
